In addition, health consumers expectations focus on their right to quality and evidence based care in a timely and informed manner. Whilst health care agencies expect care to be delivered efficiently and within increasingly constrained budgets. As a result, new technological innovations for wound assessment; biochemical and molecular wound markers; point of care diagnostics and treatment therapies have emerged.
